Monte Albán

Monte Alban is one of the most awe-inspiring archeological sites in Mexico. Surrounded by mountain ranges and located about 2000 meters above sea level. Throughout its existence in time it was „used” by people of Olmec, Mixtec and Zapotec cultures.

Definitely a „must see” during a visit in Mexico if you are up to something more beyond playas of Yucatán.
